Benfica match review
By: j |The Clássico was as feisty you would expect and fittingly, with it being a reasonably balanced affair, ended in a 1-1 draw before 53,000 at Estádio da Luz,
Porto took the lead when Lucho González converted from the spot at the eleventh minute after a foul by Greek international Kostas Katsouranis. After a series of scoring [...]

Belenenses match review
By: j |Porto started the defense of the Portuguese Liga title with a perfectly sound 2-0 defeat of Belenenses at Estádio do Dragão. As manager Jesualdo Ferreira had commented in his pre-match press conference that he had learned from the Supertaça defeat and corrected the problems, Porto came out looking likely a completely different squad. Confidence was [...]
week 1 preview Belenenses
By: j |This must be one of the most unusual opening matches for a club so steeped in history and success.
