Deivid de Souza fans the flames
By: j | September 9th, 2008Ex Sporting-man Deivid de Souza had some choice words for Porto as his present club, Fenerbahçe, visits Estádio do Dragão next Wednesday on match-day one of the Champions League.
Speaking to the Record he noted he will not return from injury till October but added:
“It is a pity that I won’t score against Porto in the (Estádio do )Dragão once more, but my team mates will fill my absence and score in my place,” and then laughed out loud.
He further added:
“We want to go finals in the Champions League. We will play attacking football against Porto and we want to get a good result. Our aim is to go even further than last year’s Quarter-Final.”
