Jesualdo Ferreira wants fan support at tonights Supertaça
By: j | August 16th, 2008Jesualdo Ferreira is quite clear that this evenings Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira is important to him and he wants to start the season off with a trophy. In speaking to the media he noted that while the club is stronger:
“The team is clearly stronger because the players are more mature, more confident, more dynamic and tactically evolved (advanced).”
In special mention to Dragões supporters:
“First of all I want to congratulate the F.C. Porto fans which have appeared in great number in our last two matches. I believe we’re going to find a stadium full of F.C. Porto supporters.”
This evenings match looks to be a great affair. Preview to follow but I should mention immediately contrary to earlier reports, Ricardo Quaresma will not be suiting up for Porto.
