Ricardo Quaresma update 4
By: j | August 22nd, 2008The saga continues with various reports of Rafa Benitez looking to bring Ricardo Quaresma to Liverpool with a offer in the €25m range.
I wish to emphasize this is highly speculative and the information seems like a “he said, she said” tale at a café. With Portuguese media quoting unnamed English media sources in addition to the story making its rounds through a variety of Italian media outlets, this is far from information that has went through fact-checking. However while the bottom-line facts might be a bit off, the fact remains that Ricardo Quaresma is showing no signs of wanting to play for Dragões and as the transfer window nears closing, offers will be made.

This is making me NUTS. I dont know what the problem is, but if Porto dont get off their behinds about this, everyone will be screwed. Quaresma wants to go. What is the big freakin’ deal? Liverpool is so not going to give them all that cash - 25 million euro is a HUGE amount of money. Besides, I thought earlier in this whole saga Porto were requiring a player in trade. Who the hell is Liverpool going to give Porto?
If you cant tell, I really really REALLY want Quaresma to come to Inter. Moratti promised us that we would get a big signing this summer and Muntari and Mancini are just not cutting it. Besides, Figo is not getting any younger.

are you sure you want him? LOL…yes I understand.
I don’t think Liverpool will come to the table with that type of money but I’m biased because of their foul owners. Porto is just trying to maximize the return on investment now because it certainly doesn’t seem like he’ll be in Portugal this year.

I can only hope he goes to Liverpool, Being a Liverpool supporter second to my Dragoes. Liverpool needs him to spread out the pitch. Everything is running through the middle with absolutely no support out wide.
