Vitória Guimarães match preview

By: j | November 15th, 2008

Facing Guimarães at the Dragão Stadium, Jesualdo Ferreira notes this match is a decisive match in their campaign. Farías and Sapunaru have been called upon with Alvalade, Guarin, Hulk and Pedro Emanuel will sit out.

Prior to the match Jesualdo Ferreira commented:
“Vitória is a strong team, slightly different from the last season. They have an excellent coach and are getting better scores as visiting team than at their home ground. For all that, this match will be more difficult that the one at Alvalade. It has, for us, a decisive importance and is determinant in our pathway to the title. We cannot lose more points and, at F.C. Porto, the error margin is always equal to zero”

He has listed the following squad for the match:
Bruno Alves, Farías, Fernando, Fucile, Helton, Lino, Lisandro, Lucho, Mariano, Nuno, Pelé, Raul Meireles, Rodríguez, Rolando, Sapunaru, Stepanov, Tarik Sektioui and Tomás Costa

I will report on the match Sunday evening CET.
