Welcome to Porto!

I would like to welcome everyone to the new offside home of FC Porto. Through this blog I’ll introduce everyone to the great Portuguese club in beautiful Porto. We’ve got a superb squad, with a number of exciting additions and looking forward to a very ambitious season including the Champions League. So get ready for an incredible year and join me in supporting the Dragões, the place where Football is truly played beautifully.

As a final word, which is unfortunate given most won’t read this, I would like to make it known that I take pride in writing this blog and will have a firm set of rules for those who wish to comment. As an well-published author I understand the role of responsible publishing and all too often that is forgotten in the blogging world. In asking to provide this blog I wanted to convey not only my respect for the game within Portugal and the club but equally the people of Portugal. If you choose to read and comment on my blog I ask you to please follow the same decorum and not say anything insulting towards other clubs or the like. While I enjoy a healthy taste of competition, I will not allow anything I am associated with to be disrespectful in any manner. I will not respond to insulting comments or blogs that choose such conduct including the use of offensive language. For those that insist upon posting insulting comments or swear in their posts, I will delete them and all subsequent posts from that email and ip address. The beauty of the beautiful game is how it brings us together and this blog will uphold that vow.
